Connecting payment methods

Connect Softune Payments β€” Cash on Delivery and manual bKash/Nagad β€” and understand why Payments is included by default (not part of the 25 paid Add-Ons).

2 min readUpdated Aug 20, 2026

Menu β†’ Payments is where Softune connects the ways customers pay. Softune checkout today supports Cash on Delivery and manual wallet payments (bKash and Nagad: the shopper pays your number and submits a transaction ID). Payments (with Courier) shows as Included by Default on the Add-Ons page β€” core infrastructure, not one of the 25 optional marketplace Add-Ons.

Enable a payment method

  • 1. Open Menu β†’ Payments
  • 2. Choose Cash on Delivery and/or a Softune wallet method (bKash or Nagad)
  • 3. Enter the merchant wallet number Softune asks for (wallet methods)
  • 4. Enable the method for the store
  • 5. Place a test checkout and confirm Softune records the order and any transaction ID correctly

Softune does not offer live auto-checkout through SSLCommerz, Stripe, or PayPal today. Only enable methods Softune lists and that you can settle by hand.

Included by Default vs Add-Ons catalog

On Add-Ons, Softune shows Payments and Courier as Included by Default. The 25-item catalog covers optional engagement, marketing, AI, and operations tools β€” not these core rails.

Getting Started step

Connect a payment method is one of Softune’s nine Getting Started checklist items. Completing it advances the X/9 badge.
