Softune separates draft work from the live storefront. Save keeps editor changes as a local draft. Publish pushes them live. Softune surfaces a note that changes can take 1β2 minutes to appear on the live site.
Pre-publish checklist
- 1. Preview Home and a product page on desktop and mobile
- 2. Confirm Header links and announcement bar copy are correct
- 3. Confirm featured products are in stock and priced correctly
- 4. Confirm Payments and Courier match how you actually fulfill
- 5. Confirm FAQs and legal pages from Site Settings if the checklist required them
Save, then Publish
- 1. Click Save to store the draft in Softune
- 2. Click Publish when you intend customers to see the changes
- 3. Wait 1β2 minutes before judging the live storefront
- 4. Open Softune hostname or custom domain in a private window
- 5. Spot-check Home, a category, and a product page
If something looks wrong after Publish, return to the editor, fix it, Save, and Publish again β Softuneβs delay note applies each time.
Getting Started completion
Publish your site is the final step on Softuneβs 9-step Getting Started checklist. Completing it (with the other eight) removes the Setup section from the sidebar.
